Service Description

CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry This course is approved by Work Safe Qld and is a Nationally Recognised training. This course is the mandatory work health and safety training required for all workers to complete prior to undertaking construction work in Queensland. This training will give you a basic knowledge of: work health and safety laws common site hazards and how to control the associated risks. If you successfully complete the course and meet all of the requirements you will be issued with your Qld White Card and emailed a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment, the same day as the training. Course Requirements: To successfully complete this course you need to: Attend the course in person and demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. Identify and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. Correctly select and fit common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work. Have sound literacy and numeracy skills to read and interpret safety signs and instructions Oral skills at a level that show you can read and interpret safety signs and instructions. For those aged under 18 years of age parental permission is required In order to issue a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment and Qld White Card we will require enrolment information including your USI number. Three forms of indentification is required including 1 form of Photo ID. If you are unsure if you meet the above requirements or you have concerns please contact us to discuss your requirements and the support processes or contacts we have to assist you.​ ​​We ask that all students be in good health when attending a course and if you are suffering from cold or flu symptoms you will not be able to attend the course. We are happy to reschedule you to another date. ​Our courses start on time and we run our courses as time efficiently as possible, for this reason if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to your class you will not be able to attend and you may forfeit your course. We do not provide refunds if you simply change your mind. You may reschedule your course to another date, please provide 24 hour notice by emailing info@aokfirstaidtraining.com.au or your course fee may be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy

All courses can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice. No shows will forfeit the course fee. We generally do not provide refunds if you change your mind. Special circumstances will need to be submitted in writing for Management to review, a minimum of 7 days notice is required.
